翻訳と辞書　辞書検索 [ 開発暫定版 ] スポンサード リンク Hillary Peak ： ウィキペディア英語版 Hillary Peak Hillary Peak is the name which has been proposed by the Government of Nepal for an unnamed and unclimbed peak in the Himalayas in honour of Edmund Hillary, who made the first ascent of Everest with Tenzing Norgay in 1953. In September 2013 a government panel recommended that two unnamed mountains be called Hillary Peak and Tenzing Peak as part of a batch of new summits expected to be opened to climbers in 2014. Although the precise location of the new Hillary Peak was not given by the panel, the altitude they quoted indicates that its probable position is in the Solukhumbu region of Nepal between Lhotse and Nuptse, two higher Himalayan peaks.
